From the avid angler to the novice fisherman, Mt. Rainier National Park has crystal clear fresh water streams and rivers naturally populated with various fish. Although not stocked, Mt. Rainier waterways are home to Brook Trout, Dolly Varden, Cutthroat Trout, Rainbow Trout and Kokanee Salmon.
Guests and visitor taking advantage of our Naturalist Programs at Mt. Rainier should note that the supply if fish is not endless and are asked to use barbless hooks and artificial lures. Licenses are not required fishing in the park, but Washington State fishing regulations apply.
